Therapist Overview
In response to covid 19: Offering Tele-video Therapy. Greetings and welcome to Mindflow Therapeutics. A question for you: What do you value most in your life? Family? Friendships? Peace? Sobriety? Your job or career? Health? Quiet? Quiet of mind? A good nights sleep? Of course there are many more values to list, however can you list 4 top values most important to you? Are the struggles you are experiencing in your life interfering with these values? Each of you have unique life experiences that play a role in where you are at this very moment. My treatment approach is grounded in identifying your values and moving from there. For over 20 years I have provided counseling in settings ranging from group homes, wilderness treatment, psychiatric day schools, to a local community mental health center. In 2009 I was asked to develop the Chemical Dependency Counseling degree program at Salish Kootenai College. I wholeheartedly enjoy working together, mutually with all clients. Our bodies have a natural desire to gravitate towards happiness & overall well-being. The challenge: losing track of how to get there. I offer non-directive, client centered, trauma informed, cognitive-behavioral, and yes- reality therapy. As a first generation descendent of the Salish & Kootenai Tribes I feel comfortable working with Native clients.
