Children, adolescents and adults face multiple demands and emotional stressors on a daily basis. These demands and expectations can lead children to feel anxious and overwhelmed. For adults, the challenges associated with parenting, being a partner in committed relationship, family stress, health concerns and balancing work-life responsibilities can deplete energy and lead to existing in survival mode. For children, adolescents and adults, engaging in short-term therapy or coaching can be an important first step. Together, we navigate a path forward that enhances existing coping skills and facilitates meeting the demands present. My role is to support, encourage and empower my clients. I challenge clients to better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Gaining insight into our individual strengths, and areas for growth, allows us to be more successful in meeting the expectations, demands and challenges present in our lives. I work collaboratively with parents and children to improve the child’s emotional regulation and coping skills. I partner with adults to identify their individual strengths and lessen self-doubt. This process supports growth, change and goal attainment. My practice is primarily self-pay. I am an Out of Network provider for BCBS.
