Therapist Overview
Often our life experiences create patterns through which we relate to ourselves, others, and the world. These beliefs shape our interactions and guide our decision making. Ask yourself: Do you ever feel that there is an inner critique, or bully, who only notices your failures? Do you end the day only thinking of the “shoulds”? Do you feel shame in being vulnerable or asking for help? Do you struggle when you feel you cannot control the things around you? My goal is to help you shift these beliefs so that you can feel freedom from your bully, and empowered to be the truest version of you. I help women of all ages build the skills to recognize and communicate what they need–and feel that they are deserving of having those needs be met! Through mindfulness, thought challenging, and unconditional support, you will learn how to view yourself as a capable, strong, and compassionate individual. Using a holistic approach, I focus not just on the symptom but the core issues creating instability in your mental health. These issues include anxiety, shame/guilt, interpersonal relationships, trauma, & life transitions. My therapy style is collaborative, supportive and non-judgmental; I draw from a variety of therapeutic models to meet your unique needs.
