I believe that much of our current suffering hold roots in our past, and can be difficult to approach alone. My therapeutic approach is relational psychodynamic, and my technique integrates narrative, somatic, attachment and trauma forward modalities. Together, we will pay attention to your narratives, and how relationships and systems have shaped, harmed and healed you. My hope for therapy is not only the reduction of painful symptoms in your life, but a growing capacity for authenticity, creativity, and trust in yourself, leading to a life more deeply connected—to yourself, to others, and to your experience in the world. I offer therapy to adolescents and adults with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety and depression, grief and loss, transitions and endings, sexual abuse/trauma, family of origin issues and relationship difficulties. I have worked locally and internationally with sex trafficking survivors and individuals who have experienced sexual abuse. Entering into therapy can be scary. You are not alone. I welcome all individuals into my office. I intentionally hold each individual’s context and identity including race, culture, gender, sexuality and religion with honor.
