Therapist Overview
I work with teens, adults and families using a variety of theoretical models and evidence-based interventions. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, active and non-judgmental, and my style is warm, direct and authentic. My clients experience a range of distressing mental health issues including anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, issues related to GLBTQIA identity, and substance abuse/addiction. My goal is to reduce distress and assist people in the development of an enriching life. My clinical training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and a Fellowship in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2005, and have also worked as an outpatient and community outreach therapist.
