Therapist Overview
There is often much in life that we cannot control, which can feel lonely, overwhelming, and debilitating. Sitting with these uncomfortable emotions can be difficult. In therapy it is possible to explore the feelings, examine patterns that make you feel stuck, rewrite your self-talk, and set attainable goals to create lasting change. These tools can help you find your path, your voice, and your resilience. Whether it is working through a life change, feelings of depression or anxiety, experiences of trauma, relationship stressors, or issues of self-worth; it is my privilege to walk with you on this journey. We will use person centered, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and trauma informed strategies to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is my goal to provide each of my clients with opportunities to explore and process in a space that feels hopeful, safe, and non-judgmental. It is my belief that when we learn to see and accept ourselves as we are, we can begin to release the guilt and shame that burden us. This is where we find peace, mindfulness, and resilience. Doing this work takes courage, but you do not have to do it alone. Together, we can uncover this empowered version of yourself. It’s been there all along.
