I believe in a strengths-based approach to moving through therapy. This entails helping clients foster their own resources so that they leave with the tools to grow through life’s challenges as they arise. I work with each person on their individual goals, wherever they may be at this point in life. My goal is to empower every client to trust themselves and their process. I use an evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Approach that integrates mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and creativity.I am trained in CBT-Insomnia, Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, among others. I emphasize a neuroscience-informed approach and draw heavily from both Attachment and Polyvagal Theories. Starting this process can be anxiety provoking. Finding a therapist who you feel comfortable enough with to build a trusting relationship is the first step.
