When life becomes challenging it is normal to feel out of balance, overwhelmed, and hopeless. When struggling, children can feel helpless and parents can feel hopeless. I am a strength-based family therapist that strives to help clients resolve common struggles by getting clients to become unstuck from their problematic issues, patterns in their interactions, connecting with their resilience and better understanding one another. As a therapist who is informed by Attachment Theory, I consider healthy relationships to be incredibly important throughout our lives, and especially during times of stress and transition. As an experienced early childhood educator, I have observed that children learn and create meaningful experiences through play. This has inspired me to draw upon play therapy and other experiential activities in my work with children, adolescents, and families. I believe that strengthening our bonds with others can help us through our challenges. In addition to seeing clients in private practice, I am an elementary school clinician where I support students with relational, behavioral, and mental health issues.
