Therapist Overview
When you make a decision to begin therapy for yourself or a loved one, you are making a decision to be courageous. I believe that for a person to heal and move beyond their struggle, they must first have a sense of safety and connection. Together, using evidence-based practices, we will develop a path of treatment that leads you or your loved one to healing. My work focuses primarily with children who sexually harm and victims of sexual trauma. I have knowledge and expertise in working with those struggling with attachment, anxiety, depression or symptoms stemming from other trauma experiences. As well, I am trained in many early childhood models of therapy such as PCIT, CPP and Circle of Security-Parenting. I have a passion for working with and providing a safe, therapeutic space to persons that identify as part of the LGBT community and their family members. As a psychotherapist, I approach each client and their unique experiences from a place of patience and compassion.
