Therapist Overview
Has anyone ever told you that you’re harsh on yourself? Or that you always bend over backwards for others? Have you wished that you had more meaningful relationships or that your social anxiety wouldn’t keep you from life events? It can be exhausting to try to have it all together & not be able to share how you’re really feeling. What if you could treat yourself the way you do with your friends or loved ones? As a high-performing, high-achieving, self-critical, and/or perfectionistic professional in a fast-paced city, that can feel unattainable. As a therapist, I strive to foster a space where you can pause, take a breath, and feel the emotions we’ve learned to tuck away so that it doesn’t hamper our productivity or burden others. I provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-forward individual and couples therapy. I specialize in working with adults who struggle with relationship issues, identity concerns, imposter syndrome & self-esteem. My practice is informed by the idea that in a secure, compassionate, and honest relationship, we can feel brave enough to feel, think, & talk about some of the hardest & most vulnerable things in our life. I can’t wait to meet you.
