Therapist Overview

Maybe every morning you tell yourself – today is the day I am not going to binge. But it happens anyway. You have noticed life is starting to become a cycle of binge, purge, binge, purge. You are absolutely terrified of gaining weight if you vary even slightly from your food routine. The number on the scale has started to determine your mood and even though you know it is not helpful, you feel compelled to weigh yourself multiple times a day. Maybe, you can no longer focus on social interactions because food is the only thing on your mind. Every time you do eat – the guilt and shame are intolerable. If you are reading this, you may know food is an issue, but are scared to start talking about it. Don’t worry, you are on the right track. When you are more comfortable and feel ready – I am here. You do not need to do this alone. Together, we can figure out what thoughts patterns and behaviors are not serving you well and help you take actions towards being your most authentic and effective self.
