Therapist Overview
(Currently on waitlist) Maybe you feel like you’ve tried everything, and nothing works. Maybe you don’t even know where to start. Perhaps you’re experiencing pressure from your child’s teacher, your partner, your work, your family or yourself to make changes, to get better, to BE better. It’s easy to lose perspective and hope when life hands us challenges we feel ill equipped to overcome. My practice works to integrate care for the mind, heart, and body. Therapy does not seek perfection, yet it can provide guidance, validation, and space to define your own goals to increase a positive sense of well-being and daily satisfaction I am experienced in working with children, adolescents and their families, in addition to guiding young adults in transition. I have over 12 years of treatment success in working with children, teens, and parents in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, defiance, self-esteem and self-harm. As a licensed therapist with over 12 years of experience, I counsel clients and families on achieving an increased sense of self-worth and a sense of control through improving emotion regulation, mental discipline, and physical self-care. My approach includes evidence-based techniques, positive client regard, humor and grace.
