Our mind is a very powerful organ that deserves to be treated as such. I’m determined to bring clarity to certain aspects of your world, and find the beauty in your rebirth. The lotus flower symbolizes constant rebirth, growing from muddy waters and rising above the surface to bloom every day. I started Lotus Living Therapy to specialize in aiding clients to recognize the areas of their lives that need attention and growth, with a focus on what each new day can bring. I have a diverse background of experience in dual diagnosis – substance abuse and mental health disorders, along with Veteran’s issues and Hospice work. I am well versed in a wide range of areas of clinical interest, including substance abuse, mood disorders, self-esteem concerns, body image concerns, anger management, grief and loss. Life is unique for everyone, and some transitions we face can be more difficult than others. It is my goal to work with you in finding what set of coping mechanisms will be most effective. My therapy style is conversational and active. Many of my clients describe me as warm, real, engaging and humorous, because we need to be able to laugh along this journey.
