I look forward to working alongside YOU in whatever path you have decided to take in life (or life has taken you on). I have unique experience and training in helping others through the grieving and bereavement processes. I tend to focus on a DBT heavy approach to therapy, as well as trauma informed practice. I am very experienced in working with the LGBTQ, transgender, kink and polyamorous communities. I am an approved clinical supervisor through the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners and I am eager to assist others in becoming clinically licensed. Twelve years of practicing social work has given me experience working with: people in the Queer/LGBT community, people struggling with gender identity issues or who are in the process of transitioning as well as the polyamorous and kink communities. I also hold a special place in my heart for working with those who are experiencing grief and loss. One of the hardest parts of counseling is making the initial call to establish a therapeutic relationship, you have come this far and I know that was not easy, give me a call and see where it takes you.
