Negative feelings and thoughts can hold us back from truly knowing ourselves and others. You may find yourself avoiding your emotions, struggling to trust your decision making, or looking for the approval of others. Anxieties about life, meaninglessness, and feeling of separateness can be a daily occurrence. In therapy you will find that “not ok” moments are meaningful, informative, and an ongoing given in life. In order to achieve freedom and happiness, we will learn to trust “the process”, uphold your responsibilities, and be honest with yourself and others. My job is to maintain certain conditions to facilitate your development. I am an expert in helping others with identity issues, codependency, meaninglessness, self-silencing behaviors, chronic guilt, post-cult life transitioning, conflict avoidance, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and childhood abuse and neglect. I do not work with complex trauma, self-harm, anger issues, addiction, or panic disorders. I am a genuinely empathic and unconditionally accepting therapist. I trust your process of being where and who you are, while you grow and change. ​ In therapy I do not go in front of you, because you may not follow. I do not walk behind you, because you may not want to lead. I am alongside you always. Rest assure your comfort is prioritized.
