I work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. A lot of the people who come to see me are feeling overwhelmed by their emotions. It is not necessary to be able to pinpoint a specific reason for your feelings of unease. I help people process their difficult experiences, manage their emotions in healthy ways, and improve their overall satisfaction with life. I work a lot with grief, autism, trauma, and other mental health concerns. I believe therapy is a collaborative experience and that we have to work together to find improvement. I offer support, insight and a safe space for you to express your thoughts and feelings. Through a variety of therapy interventions including talk therapy, utilizing play in therapy with children, sandtray therapy, and other creative interventions my clients are able to better understand their past and present difficulties. This understanding leads to better coping in their present life and an increased ability to deal with stress and emotions. Deciding to start counseling can be a difficult and scary decision.
