I have worked in a variety of medical, psychiatric, and community-based settings with adolescents and adults of diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including individuals affected by chronic health conditions, intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, histories of incarceration, and child and adolescent trauma. I work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship problems, substance use disorders, and PTSD. I firmly believe that life’s challenges often are opportunities for learning, growth and resiliency. Making life changes can seem like an insurmountable task. I partner with each client to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and casual environment in which you may feel heard, supported, and empowered to find ways to pursue what is important to you despite any worries, anxieties, or fears.
