At Sanctuary Counseling Group, we believe in creating therapeutic relationships with our clients that promote the healing of heart, mind & soul. Becoming a parent can be an exciting time, filled with hope and plans for the future. Yet, what often goes unspoken is how common feelings of fear, doubt & uncertainty will be. I enjoy collaborating with pregnant & postpartum women & their families on clarifying expectations of the “new normal” & developing better strategies & coping skills to handle all the changes that may come. Perhaps you have experienced infertility or a traumatic delivery & that experience has replayed in your mind. You ARE NOT alone. I also work with early career professionals, as well as those who are in career transition, match their employment goals with their interests, values & occupational skills. My expertise on issues of culture & diversity stems from previous research I conducted & my own personal experience navigating spaces as a cultural minority. Ultimately, I believe that our work together is best supported when we consider the multiple facets of the human experience that can impact your concerns such as physical health, spirituality, family & social relationships, culture & community.
