I specialize in working with adults and young adults who have experienced various forms of distress ranging from depression, anxiety, substance use and bipolar disorder to difficulty managing life transitions, low self-esteem, relationship issues and stress. I received a Masters of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rutgers University. My orientation as a counselor has a person centered and strengths based approach with techniques rooted in CBT, DBT skills, existential therapy, motivational interviewing and solution focused brief therapy.
