If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve reached a point in your life when things need to change. Oftentimes change isn’t just dependent on one person, but rather the changing and healing of a relationship. Many people find themselves stuck in the same negative patterns that leave them feeling unloved, distant, resentful, and hopeless. If you’ve noticed that you and/or your partner seem to never be on the same page, you’re feeling more like roommates than lovers, or you’re wanting to increase intimacy and closeness in your relationship, than counseling may be able to help you. I offer both individual and couples counseling. I am a Certified EFT Couples Therapist and have been using this model to help people for several years. The EFT model is based on the belief that we’re all built for connection and that when we feel distant in our most intimate relationships, we react. Our reactions can create a cycle that becomes difficult to navigate. EFT aims to shift this cycle. Seeking counseling is a big decision, and therefore it has to be one in which you feel comfortable with. Many therapists can offer a variety of tools, but if you don’t feel like it’s a good fit, it won’t be as beneficial. This is why I offer a free 15 minute consultation to make sure I’m a good fit for you. Finding you the best therapist is my priority.
