Therapist Overview
My counseling practice centers around helping individuals and couples who have experienced sexual trauma in any of its various forms. Whether it be due to recent infidelity, a long history of sexual, physical and emotional betrayal, sexual identity confusion, or present day repercussions of childhood abuse and trauma, I consider it a privilege to walk with clients into the darkness of their stories. I enjoy coming alongside and advocating for those who are tired of just coping, dissatisfied with their quality of life, and desperate for deep change and healing. I have completed basic and advanced training in EMDR therapy specifically for attachment trauma, training through the International Association of Clinical Sex Addiction Specialists, and training through the Gottman Institute for couples work. I also plan to become certified in using the Enneagram in the process of counseling. I believe it takes courage, a certain dissatisfaction with the status quo, and hope that things can really change in order for someone to reach out and pursue counseling. I want to applaud you for taking this next step and to encourage you that healing is more than possible. Life can be even better than you can imagine. Affiliated with Gateway Wellness Assoc
