Seeing your child struggle is heartbreaking: you are not alone. Whether your child is having difficulty fitting in at school or dealing with trauma, no issue is too big or small to seek help. Partnering with a therapist can provide a safe space for your child to learn and grow as well as a place where you can feel supported as a parent. My goal is to develop a relationship with your child to better understand what approaches “click” with them. I use a variety of techniques to assist youth in managing their emotions and learn new skills to help them navigate the world around them, including evidenced-based play therapy interventions. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with youth, ages 3 through 14. I earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011 and have eight years post masters experience working as a Mobile Therapist/Behavior Specialist, Therapeutic Counselor and Outpatient Therapist in home and school settings.
