As an evidence-based DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) certified counselor and Art Therapist, my goal is to foster a trusting, compassionate, and unconditionally accepting connection by meeting you where you thrive. I firmly believe that authentic human connection, learning and utilizing concrete coping skills, mindfulness, and judgment-free creative expression are key ways in which we, of all ages, can grow, communicate, and heal. Art-making can be utilized in a multitude of ways: from stress reduction to self-expression to identity exploration or even to a projective tool that can help you understand your unconscious through symbolism and metaphors. Art therapy is about the expressive journey and process, not about the product. My aim is to offer support that suits your unique individual goals, strengths, and methods of communication and self-expression.
