Sheltering in Place puts added stress on the family as a unit and magnifies feelings of isolation whether living alone or with others. We are being asked to play the role of fulltime parent, fulltime employee, and fulltime teacher while maintaining a clean and calm household. These roles are not meant for one person. With over 13 years of experience I am here to help you navigate the balancing act of “the new normal” and to assist with decision making in what is to come next. Irritability and overreacting to minor things is at an all time high because we are burnt out, feel ineffective and are unable to do things like we used to. We feel like we should be doing “more”. I can help you identify how to effectively communicate with your partner without that tone of frustration and process feelings of loss or fear. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Art Therapist and Certified Perinatel Provider my goal is to help you achieve mental wellness.
