Welcome to my counseling practice. I know that it can take a lot of strength to make that initial call, and I especially enjoy working with those who are new to therapy. When you take that first step, you’ll be met with a warm, supportive partner who understands that the therapeutic relationship is essential to facilitating meaningful self-discovery. I am a licensed professional counselor with more than 17 years of experience working collaboratively with clients to provide mental health treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, addiction, anger, and life transition issues. I use an integrative mix of evidenced-based therapeutic techniques to best meet the needs of each client. I have extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which uses acceptance and mindfulness strategies, together with commitment and behavior change strategies, to increase psychological flexibility.
