As parents, we always want our children to be healthy and happy and right now, it is a particularly challenging time for many. Our passion is to work with children/teens to help with emotional, behavioral and relational challenges. We can work on a variety of areas such as suicidal thoughts, cutting, child abuse, bullying, trauma, ADHD, depression, and anxiety. Individual therapy will offer your child/teen an opportunity to discuss problems one-on-one with a trained specialist. The therapeutic bond is formed through both talk and play therapy (sandtray, toys, art, puppets, role playing and games). EMDR is another approach we use to help the child/teen process their traumas. TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused CBT) is another approach that works with the child/teen, parent/caregiver and therapist.
