Therapist Overview
I have had the honor and privilege of working with individuals and families for more than 15 years and really love what I do! My areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief, loss, and trauma, as well as women’s issues. I recognize that the client is the expert on his or her life, and brings strengths to the therapy process. I position myself to be walk alongside clients and assist in facilitating areas of change that have been identified in therapy–all the while building on identified strengths. Hope…a necessary ingredient for humanity. As I have worked with individuals and families throughout the years, I have been continually reminded that, without a sense of hope, people have a challenging time believing in the possibility of change and that life can be different. I work very diligently at creating a space in which hope and change can occur. If you find that life feels overwhelming, you lack a sense of hope that things can look and be different, I would be honored and privileged to visit with you. The therapeutic alliance, when meaningfully developed and nurtured, has significant potential to facilitate hope, change, growth, and wholeness. Call or e-mail me for an appointment or questions!
