Therapist Overview
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with current same week availability on Saturdays. I have 12 years of experience in mental health counseling. The therapeutic models I use most often are Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing Techniques. I am also trained in evidence-based practices for working with children and their families. I work with those struggling with depression, anxiety, traumatic events, grief, parenting and more. I believe we are all doing the best we can and with a little support and feedback we can continue to grow to be the person we want to be. Are you an adult struggling with relationships or difficult situations in your life? Are you a parent with a young child who struggles with behavior or big emotions and you are unsure of what to do next? Are you a teenager struggling with difficult emotions and figuring out your place in the world? If any of these situations sound familiar I am here to help. I have experience working with children as young as age two through the lifespan to the geriatric years. I am currently accepting clients ages two and up. If you are interested in a free consultation to see if it may be a good fit please call me. I am also an Approved Supervisor in Washington and provide supervision for a fee.
