Therapist Overview
I am a Jungian analyst in practice over 40 years. I follow Jung’s statement that “psychotherapy and analysis are as varied as are human individuals” and to “treat every patient as individually as possible.” My approach is helpful for those people who are looking for a meaningful life, being unsatisfied with how their life has unfolded, aware that something seems out of tune. We all have aspects of ourselves that we are not entirely conscious of. We look to this unconscious part of ourselves, trusting that there is a central guidance within to be a more whole person. Struggles with anxiety or depression inform you of the need to attend to something in yourself. We also explore the reactions, irritations, hatreds, or loves in your life to understand what needs your attention. This work helps develop greater self-acceptance and compassion for neglected or rejected parts of yourself.
