I have experience working with individuals facing a variety of life’s challenges. For some people it is a single large event and for others it can be multiple smaller events which lead to not living their best life. These issues often present as depression, anxiety, lack of motivation or choosing to keep busy all the time.I am experienced in working with grief and loss, addictions and trauma. I use EMDR and talk therapy to build individual insight and awareness and assist the client in addressing the issues which interfere in living their best life. I have spent time getting to know myself and actively work towards self acceptance and compassion on a daily basis. Often people see counseling as a something to be done when they have time, or as last result of extreme situations. I hope to help others see counseling as a resource to prevent distress.
