Therapist Overview
“A human being is not one in pursuit of happiness but rather in search of a reason to become happy” – Viktor Frankl. I am an Atlanta native who has received a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia Southern University followed by a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I have extensive experience with mental health crisis intervention. I have worked on an inpatient psychiatric unit doing psycho-social assessments and helping individuals as well as their families navigate the resources available to them within our community. My goal is for individuals to explore who they are and who they would like to become. I use an existential framework to help individuals create a lifestyle that is meaningful to them based on their personal values and passions.
