Therapist Overview

I enjoy working with clients of any age who may be experiencing heightened anxiety due to a stressful life event, or who may have been living with anxiety for as long as they remember. I find that by using a combination of modalities directed specifically to address the individual needs and interests of my clients, we can work together toward a sense of increased joy and decreased anxiety. I like to use expressive arts, EMDR, CBT and mindfulness-based interventions in a manner that is geared toward honoring each client’s healing journey. I provide a safe and supportive space for adults and children who have learning differences, challenges related to gender, and those who have experienced a significant loss. I welcome the opportunity to meet with clients outdoors if they choose, as it is my belief that being in the natural world can greatly enhance the therapeutic process. I am here to support you and walk with you as you travel along the healing journey. As Maya Angelou reminds us, ” Every journey begins with a single step.”
