I specialize in Synergetic Play Therapy and Nature-Based Therapy for children and adults. My clients typically are high functioning and have beautiful hearts, but are going through a transition or need extra support. I have a play therapy office in Lyons, Colorado, and I can meet clients in nature after our initial meeting. Nature based therapy is a combination of art therapy, somatic therapy, play therapy, and contemplative practice in the outdoors. I co-create earth art, metaphors, and simple ceremony with my clients. Even when indoors or practicing play therapy, I enjoy bringing nature inside in various ways. My goal is to strengthen my clients relationship to themselves and to nature. In feeling a solid sense of belonging to the earth, my clients eventually lean into their relationship with nature, instead of relying solely on the therapist. It’s a beautiful process to witness!
