ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!!! Even before I became a therapist, I valued the special bond that is formed between two people when they begin to speak of something personal. I understood that trust, empathy and care were critical to the journey together. My desire as a therapist is to enter into that journey with others, to share in their story, help them make meaning, and find new paths forward. I believe that each person has wisdom and insight into their own personal journey that can add tremendously to the therapeutic process. Goal setting and developing a treatment plan together give structure to that process. There’s a lot of good stuff out there, but some of the techniques I use are drawn from Family Systems Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
