I enjoy working with clients with a wide range of concerns. have extra training in working with Individuals who are in high-conflict situations and can serve as mediator or parenting coordinator or therapist as needed. My clients range from older children to seniors, with a variety of issues such as marital problems, gender issues, and depression/anxiety. I have expertise in dealing with medical issues and their effects on individuals, including disability, compulsive eating, and end of life care. In today’s hectic world, families face many challenges as they endeavor to take care of loved ones. Demands of earning a living, nurturing children, and caring for elderly or ill family members may prevent families from maintaining healthy relationships. families are often unprepared and supportive services may be needed for successful adaptation. Though asking for help may seem awkward or embarrassing, individuals and families who do reach out report increased self-esteem, improved communication and decision-making skills. While families who did not receive help often describe feelings of anger, frustration , and weaker ties with family and friends.
