Reno Gomez

I am a LCSW who works with individuals who are experiencing a disruption in a relationship, difficulty managing their mood, or experiencing an existential crisis. My experience providing individual and group outpatient services, as well as crisis intervention services, allows me to provide my client with the tools needed to work towards recovery. I work to form a trusting therapeutic relationship to allow for exploration of strengths and skills to overcome life challenges. My hope is for all clients to acquire the skills to be their own therapist, and progress from the counseling relationship with an increased sense of self. I have received training in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy, and integrate person-centered, relational approaches to assist with formation of the clinical relationship. I am also a Texas Social Work Board approved supervisor, and provide clinical supervision to LMSW’s using a cultural-relational model of supervision. ***I am currently not accepting new referrals, and will update this section when I have availability.
