Mary Ablett has over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults using cognitive-behavioral techniques for a wide range of problems. Ms. Ablett specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, particularly Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Social Anxiety, Separation Anxiety, Panic Disorder, and childhood behavioral problems. She also specializes in treatment for stress-related disorders and is particularly interested in early intervention for adolescents and young adults who are experiencing difficult life transitions. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process between the therapist and client that involves learning new skills, gaining new insight, and changing one’s behavior to meet one’s therapy goals. My approach focuses on an understanding of the interconnection of an individuals’ biology, body, and their psychology.
