Most are beginning to recognize unhealthy patterns and can’t quite understand the origin or how to change. They are distracting themselves from the real issues with self sabotaging behaviors such as overeating, overworking or excessive alcohol intake. Sometimes they just need help adjusting to life changes such as divorce, illness/health changes, partnering, retirement or becoming a parent. I treat a variety of issues/mental health diagnoses including weight management, binge eating disorder, compulsive overeating and bariatric surgery.
