I take a holistic approach to therapy and believe that our health is comprised of body, mind, and spirit. If you struggle with any of these areas, I can help you. In light of these unprecedented times, I would love to offer my support and share coping skills for dealing with the uncertainty. My goal is to foster a safe, non-judgmental environment for you to tell your story and begin the work of healing. I emphasize self-compassion, along with ways to deal with everyday stress. I believe that you are unique and I base my counseling style around what will best serve your needs. I am trained in EMDR and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I specialize in trauma. I enjoy working with victims of religious abuse, and helping rebuild your spiritual life after traumatic experiences such as mistreatment in the church, or family pressure. I also work with clients who feel depressed, anxious, are struggling with grief, self-esteem, body image, sexuality, codependency and relationship issues. If depression, shame or anxiety are keeping you from living the life you want, I would love to partner with you in your healing, and help you live more authentically.
