Therapist Overview

Whether you’ve been struggling for years with a long-term mental health concern or are feeling stress, anxiety or other issues resulting from a new life change, I can help you. I know life can be challenging at work or home, and will help guide you toward a better understanding of what’s holding you back so you can create a plan for a happier, more fulfilling life. I work with adolescents and adults. I use Individual Psychology (Adlerian) to help conceptualize your worldview and create a personalized treatment plan. I employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors impact one another and can create unhealthy patterns, Motivational Interviewing to encourage difficult life changes, and EMDR to treat trauma. Counseling is a second career for me. I was successful in business for 20+ years, but felt unfulfilled by the work. Counseling provides me opportunities to help others navigate their own challenges and lead more meaningful lives.
