Therapist Overview
My approach dives “head first” into current obstacles you are comfortable tackling, but also aims to view the past with acceptance, kindness and curiosity. Together, we can build trust, identify issues and goals, and most importantly, discover your strengths! I never undervalue the role of biological, environmental, and psychological factors and how they influence perceptions, abilities, etc. If I was to describe my therapeutic style, “non-judgmental” and “strengths based” come to mind. I have a natural desire to understand clients at a deeper level. My training in evidence based strategies with CBT, TF-CBT, ACT and DBT help those experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, phobias, low self-esteem, anger, OCD and many other everyday challenges. I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine from 2017-2019. As one can imagine, life as a volunteer was not always easy; personally, I learned about resilience and hope during times of isolation and darkness. Together, we can safely explore your own darkness and relearn how to hope. The fastest way to book an appointment is through our website!
