Experiencing mental health concerns like depression, anxiety, family conflicts, or behavioral changes can be scary, but there’s no need to go through it alone. Many times, a supportive outside perspective can be helpful in figuring out what the next steps could be to resolve conflicts and relieve life stress. As your counselor, I am honored to be working together with you, or your child, in a collaborative effort to discover new ways to cope with problems and improve your quality of life. I also offer Supervision for Michigan LLPC clinicians who are seeking full licensure. My belief is that treatment should be tailored to the individual person. In session, I use techniques from play therapy, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. Additionally, I have experience working with Neurodivergent individuals and believe that strength based interventions create the most positive results.
