Therapist Overview

I work with children, adolescents and their families, as well as adults, who are struggling with learning/ social/ emotional/ behavioral difficulties resulting from issues with attention/ concentration, anxiety, depression or learning problems (specific learning disabilities). I often conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine the nature and extent of the problems which will provide the necessary information for developing an individual intervention program to meet the specific needs of individuals based on the results of the assessment. I primarily use therapeutic methods and interventions based on a cognitive behavioral, or a behavioral systems approach to modification of behavior and improved coping mechanisms. One of my primary areas of expertise is in the area of assessments and interventions for individuals with attention deficit disorder across the lifespan (children, adolescents and adults) . I have written books and published research on ADHD.
