I have over twenty years of experience working with individuals and families struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and relationship difficulties. I believe that the power of listening is even more important these days and that the best therapy is a true collaboration. We’ll take the time you need to feel understood and develop a plan. You may know what you need or have vague concerns. Either way, we’ll figure it out. I typically use cognitive-behavioral and talk therapy, depending upon what is effective and realistic. We may discuss how your current and past relationships play a role. We’ll talk about whether short or longer-term solutions work best for you. I can also help you connect with community resources. I teach mindfulness strategies and many clients have found them useful, particularly for decreasing anxiety and the sense of relentless pressure so many of us experience. I completed the UMass Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course and have studied and used mind
