Hello there! I moved to Colorado 5 years ago from the upper Midwest to take on a life changing career as a high school counselor. During my time working with adolescents both as a counselor and substitute teacher, I grew a strong appreciation for the current issues our youth experience on a daily basis. I also have experience working on Ft. Carson as a counselor for our military families dealing with pre-marital and divorce issues as well as working with substance abuse and mental health in both the parole and Department of Corrections setting. The type of approach I use is eclectic due to using a variety of therapies. My foundation is set on a realistic viewpoint (setting obtainable goals, understanding consequences).
