Therapist Overview

You may be seeking therapy because you find yourself repeating the same unhelpful patterns – in your relationships, at work or school, or in how you feel and think about yourself – but you don’t seem able to change them. Or you may see and worry about the emotional or behavioral patterns that your child or teenager is developing, and not know how to help them. I work to help adults, teenagers, and children find relief from emotional suffering, increase resilience in the face of life’s challenges, improve relationships, and enhance self-esteem and life satisfaction. I listen, ask questions, reflect, and give feedback. Together we work to understand experiences that may have felt incomprehensible or overwhelming. Starting therapy is an expression of hope that change is possible. I offer an initial consultation during which we can briefly discuss what you or your child are experiencing and see if I might be a good fit for you. Please call or email me to inquire about meeting.
