I enjoy working with reflective, questioning adults who are struggling with handling painful emotions, resolving difficult relationships, moving through trauma, or negotiating life transitions. I have particular interest in working with visual and performing artists, academics, graduate students, clients making major life changes, and older adults in transition to retirement. My approach is strengths-based, offering empathy and a commitment to focusing on assets. While my primary approach is psychodynamic, I am also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and integrate DBT skills-building into traditional therapy.
