Therapist Overview
Finding a therapist is a lot like dating. It takes time and patience to find the right one. But once you find the right match (and eventually you will), all the hard work will feel more than worth it. With a true understanding of what it takes to seek out someone to talk to, I strive to offer an empathetic, practical and collaborative approach to therapy. My focus is on creating a strong therapeutic alliance that is not only nurturing, but challenges you to step outside your comfort zone and embrace change. My specialities include LGBTQ+, Sex and Intimacy, Anxiety, Life Transitions, Women’s Issues, Identity Exploration, Chronic Illness, Grief and Bereavement, and Insomnia. I completed my graduate education at Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work and have an undergraduate business degree from Northestern University. In April 2020, I began sex therapy training at the University of Michigan.
