Therapist Overview
I have years of experience working successfully with clients who have anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Together, we will understand the roots of your difficulties, build new coping skills and help you lead a more authentic and fulfilled life. My style of therapy is compassionate, non-judgmental, and direct. My life experience, spanning a career in law, to living overseas, to working with high-risk adolescents, enhances the understanding and perspective I bring to my work.
I have post-graduate training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, including a two-year certificate program at the Washington School of Psychiatry and training at the International Psychotherapy Institute. I continuously engage in learning and use a combination of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to best interpret, advise, explore, suggest and support.
