Therapist Overview
I work with individuals suffering from eating disorders, body image dissatisfaction, depression and anxiety, and relationship/family conflict. I help clients develop self-compassion and empower them to strengthen their sense of self by identifying and centering their values, hopes, and needs. I approach food and body issues with a health at every size, body-positive, all foods fit lens. Whether you are struggling with chronic dieting, an eating disorder, or low self-esteem, I will provide a supportive space to help you explore and heal your relationship with food and your body. I earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, and have worked in psychiatric and community mental health settings. I have also worked with adolescents, adults, and families in eating disorder partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient settings. I believe context is key to understanding struggle and I work with individuals to explore how their histories have shaped their current reality. In addition to seeing adult individual clients, I work with adolescents, couples, and families to help create home environments that support full recovery, allowing individuals to grow and thrive.
